Chez Tintin et Milou was founded in 1989 by the Kamloops Francophone Association. It was created in response to a growing need for children in Kamloops to be exposed to the French language and culture in a preschool environment. In 1991, to meet the needs of the growing population in Kamloops, the centre was expanded to include a full time daycare program.
At Chez Tintin et Milou, French is introduced to the children in a positive and enriched environment that is tailored to their needs, abilities and knowledge of French. Every attempt is made to promote an appreciation of the French language and a feeling in inclusion in French culture.

GARDERIE & PROGRAMME PRÉSCOLAIRE
L'Association francophone de Kamloops (AFK) a fondé la prématernelle Chez Tintin et Milou en 1989 pour répondre au besoin grandissant d'exposer les enfants d'âge préscolaire à la langue française dans un milieu éducatif. Le français est introduit à l'enfant dans un milieu riche et stimulant, par des activités libres et structurées, dans lequel l'enfant pourra apprendre à son rythme tout en découvrant aussi l'importance de la socialisation.
L'AFK a mis en place le service de garderie en 1991 pour répondre aux demandes croissantes de la population de Kamloops, CB.
